Description | Anjr0o is playing so well you'd think he's the one on XIM, but he's actually natty and half the match is on XIM. This game actually may be the best gameplay I've ever had. Every life was played exceptionally well. Not only was decision making excellent, but my accuracy was absolutely dumpstering the other XIMMERS in the lobby. I'm on a Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra, and I look as smooth as mutex with it

Even after all was said an done, it felt like the deaths on my KD were mistakes that I made, and a better version of myself wouldn't have let those happen. Here's to chasing that self.
The easiest way to really get an idea for XIM vs controller is to watch on 2X speed. There’s a few players to check on.
My tank: 100% XIM, look at how everything is jittery. Small to large micro motions, but every single one of them is a straight line. WASD movement.
Me (Anjr0o): Not XIM. You’ll see I actually have an understanding of advanced aiming and even basic stuff like crosshair placement around corners. I do have that aimbot-like accuracy but it’s got that smooth swagger to it like mutex. As I’m rounding corners you can see my crosshair glides along the path that the enemies would be without stuttering. This could never be achieved by a mouse because they don’t have the ability to set a speed of rotation perfectly without picking up the mouse eventually.
Enemy tank: 100% XIM, you can even see that there’s a stutter at times in the replay viewer. That’s because his XIM is sending a very easy-to-detect signal doing things that a joystick couldn’t actually do in the physical world, like tilting 100%, then 2%, then 100% again. This keeps his crosshair more consistently in-sync with his mouse, but at the cost of making it blatantly obvious. Again, smh at blizzard.
Enemy DPS (McFigginz: Cassidy, Bastion): XIM, watch his bastion gameplay in particular. You can see constant swipes of his mouse. This guy understands crosshair placement around corners, but he can’t hide the XIM because he makes tiny, jittery movements to keep his crosshair in the right place. You’ll also see janky motions from the XIM like the tank above.
Enemy DPS (Claptrap123: Reaper, Soldier): Definitely not on XIM, he’s like the typical console player. You’ll see him spamming his movement stick hella to aim, but he almost never moves his right stick because he can’t make good micro-adjustments with it.
Frankly, there might be more XIM in this lobby but even the noticeable ones are so bad at aiming I’m disappointed to mention it. |
